He'll never see the inside of the octagon, I'm convinced of that now more than ever. All the abuse he took in wrestling isn't gonna allow him to train like he should for MMA.

:leon:

I don't see him not having at least one.

Retiring before your debut :dead:

I still have NO idea whether I want him to win or lose....

so much hurt on either side
Him winning means more heat. Save for the "I root for a loser so I'm a better fan than you" fan, nobody is as stuck up and self righteous as "MMA fan" so if punk won his first fight it means rage not seen in some time.

Don't say that, I think there is still a good chance he will one day face Ken Shamrock at Bellator.:lolbron:

Mickey Gall’s callout of Phil “CM Punk” Brooks has landed him in the UFC, and put him in position to earn the fight he wants.

Gall (1-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) was featured on the first episode of UFC President Dana White’s streaming reality show “Looking For A Fight” and finished his professional debut with a first round rear-naked choke submission. He immediately let White know what he wanted.

“Hey Dana White, I don’t know if CM Punk has an opponent,” Gall said afterward in the cage, “but I would love to fight that man.”

White said he was “interested” in Gall getting the spot against former WWE superstar Brooks (0-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC), who has yet to make his professional debut.

Now, White has given Gall the opportunity to fight for the a shot a the ex-professional wrestler.

“I might as well break it here, right?” White said while appearing on TSN’s “Off the Record.” “Mickey Gall – I’m bringing in Mickey Gall in and he’s going to fight a guy named Michael Jackson. They’re going to fight on the prelims on Feb. 6 on fight pass. If he wins that fight, Mickey Gall will fight CM Punk. CM Punk will be there to watch.”

I want punk to win, if only to see the bitter wrestling fans and diehard UFC fans bytch about it on Twitter :mjlol:

The :angry::angry::fire::fire: would be unbelievable

I'm gonna be on Twitter prodding the shyt outta people too

I hope Punk is successful mainly because as someone who is a student of both forms of entertainment I hate how "MMA fans" look down on wrestling as tho the two don't have things in common.

This might literally be the most backwards thing I've ever read in my life. Fight a vet to earn a match with a novice? :laff:

Dana is truly something else, man.
