It does matter. Why? Because one guy gets more watched than others. Sometimes it's justified...sometimes it's not. Big Show crying got over a million...the Shield and CM Punk? Barely 400 overruns? Get real. Hypocrisy on display but you already knew that.

It does matter to YOU. As a person who watches the show for the fukkery and TSC, it doesn't matter to me. If they actually used the results of the Raw ratings to determine how the show should be booked (who's gaining a following, who needs a change, etc.) I'd care. But for now, ratings are just an interesting yet unimportant piece of data that gets threads like this created.

All this shyt about ratings is laughable. Why do y'all nikkas care? The only people who should care about ratings are advertisers and the company, not some dusty nikkas on the internet. They mean fukk all in the grand scheme of things to 99% of the audience, yet they're regarded as the most important thing in the world to people who desperately want to push an agenda.

So Raw did a 2.7 on Monday. So what?

The Raw after Wrestlemania was one of the GOAT Raw's I've ever seen. It only did a 3.3. A fukking 3.3, with a rumoured Lesnar appearance, on the Raw right after a Wrestlemania where THE ROCK won in the main event.

The whole product is flabby and sick, but for nikkas to start analysing 2.7's like (in the grand scheme of things) they're worse than six months ago is just fukking sad.

Its like arguing music sales or basing your film opinions on which one sold the most tickets...except its even worse because thanks to quarter hours and segments overlapping and outside circumstances and overrun averages and all this other pointless nonsense, you can literally just spin the numbers into whatever petty claim you want, if you care enough to bother.

When you put the numbers up, 3.3 (I think it actually ended up being a 3.4) and 2.7 may not seem that far apart. But when you look at the viewership, you're talking about losing an average of a million viewers. Pretty significant.

Ratings matter. They do reflect the pulse of the industry and we all care about that. Plus, the shyt is garbage...so in a way, I'm glad the decrease in viewership reflects that.

As I've said in the past, it's just funny that nobody ever thought to scrap the ratings discussion until they took a turn for the worst under Punk's reign. Never saw those types of posts when Cena, Dave, Orton, Miz, Sheamus were holding the belt.
