CM Punk UFC Debut Delayed....Again

Former WWE Superstar CM Punk is set to undergo back surgery today in Chicago to fix a herniated disc, according to MMAFighting.com. His planned UFC debut will be delayed once again as a result. Punk told MMAFighting,

“My back has always bugged me. Figured it was just wrestling sh*t. Turns out it was. It got bad enough to the point where I couldn’t do anything the week before I went to train with the New Jersey Devils last month. One day I could manage, the next day I couldn’t.

“I’ve been in agony for almost a month. Chiropractor, acupuncture, massage, cryotherapy … nothing worked.”

Exactly. I respect the hell out of him for leaving $$$ to chase a goal the way he did but he had a LOT of miles on him prior to deciding to fight. Those training camps eat up healthy young cats a man in his late 30's going thru one for the first time is a tall task

Dude looked super nervous after the Mickey Gall fight, but this is something CM Punk probably shouldn't be doing in the first place. He's so broken down from wrestling and he doesn't have a base in anything. Even if he trained for a couple of years, I still expect him to get submitted or KO'd in under a minute
