the answer is economics been fukked up out here. And if you look at chinas collapse in progress the issue is not enough births.
Know multiple couples paying that or more for daycare. Had a pregnant lady I worked with that would lose her shyt anytime someone brought up how expensive kids were because #2 was in the oven and her BF didn't make much money
