It’s bad strategy to run someone against a sitting President. The republicans have no idea who they want to run, and Trump still has their voting base eating out of his hand.
Desantis is less presidential than Trump, despite being an actual politician, because he can’t even pretend to not be a racist moron. They’ll stomach Trump because he gets the needle moving, Desantis does nothing for the party.
I wouldn’t rock the boat for 2024 seeing as the Republicans are in turmoil and can end up in even worse shape after November. The abortion strike down poked the bear and has energized democrats to get involved.

Facts. Like I said in 2020 while people were clowning biden. People didn't vote FOR biden, they voted AGAINST trump. If Bernie had more steam he would've been the clear winner, but he just didn't have the kind of big players behind him that establishment democrats did. "I'm going to regulate and break up the companies that you have millions of dollars worth of stocks in" isn't a message that big donors will get behind. They own this country and will continue to fukk with it until they destroy it, or we destroy them.

They want this too. Because they understand that there's money to be made by letting republicans continue to carve away people's rights. They aren't a political party any more, they are a business. They're taking your tax dollars to re-invest it in companies like Raytheon, Boeing, Meta, Amazon, and Exxon. They're taking your donations to buy themselves first class flights, nice suits, and mansions. They don't care what happens to you because you have ZERO--I repeat: ZERO leverage over them. None. Nadda. NOTHING. They don't owe you a damn thing.
You didn't secure a cushy job for their fukk-up kid, the CEO of an oil company they hung out at a 2k a plate fundraiser dinner did. You didn't give them insider information they could make stock moves on, the CFO of a fortune 500 company they played golf with did. You didn't hook them up with a seat on a board post-retirement, a fellow board member they met at the prayer breakfast did. They don't care about you, they don't care about America and honestly probably never did. They have more in common with each other than you think. National elections are a fukking joke. The writing is on the wall and when shyt starts to get too hot, they'll jet off to another country somewhere and enjoy their millions in peace.
Look at what is happening in your community. Figure out who is running for mayor, running for police chief, running for a judge position and if they hold your values vote for them. Look at who wants to be governor and if their platform and track record is good, vote for them. Focus on what is around your immediate surroundings because these people want to fiddle while Rome burns. I learned after this disastrous presidency that it's just not worth it anymore on the national level.
