I swear the far left has less power than they think. I will always say that I'm down for the left in terms of ideology, and I'll always vote blue when it comes to the Presidency and Congress. We don't have a Parliament.

To your edit, yeah, it's insane. People in the know recognized what was up. I worked for the Sanders campaign long before I ever assisted in banking for Biden once he got the nomination. It was clear following the presidential election results, that no one else could have beat Trump, not even Sanders. And Siena College is an "A" rated pollster, so that graphic isn't to be scoffed at. We will see what happens though, gotta at least see what happens this November.

I think it's clear the governors won't be listening to anyone in DC or the White House. Newsom is running. Whitmer might run. Prtizker is probably running. Barring some miraculous turn of events, Biden will likely be the most unpopular US president in modern history by this time next year. There would be no point in him running. Hell there's barely a point right now but I think it's too early to say.
The biggest obstacle to toppling Biden has been Harris, under the assumption that white candidates barging in to prevent her ascension would be ugly or viewed negatively by voters. But Harris has done jack shyt to endear herself to anyone besides MSNBC junkies.

I think most black people will sit the next election out. Most black people are waking up and realizing Dems don't give a fukk about us either, they too busy giving rights to gays and making sure our children can go to drag show and learn about sexuality in kindergarten.
