CNN got bought out by John Malone and he has donated to Trump couple times so this may be him slowly but surely turning CNN to FOX news lite.
From what I have read about the situation heading into the changes, that is the goal.

Don Lemon was a TERRIBLE prime time news host. I'm surprised he survived this long with all the trash takes and conspiracy BS he's allowed his show to be used for. He's just not a serious journalist.
