Honestly, lol, at this point, it's a goddamn shame nikkas doubt me:heh:... And I don't even care no more:yeshrug: .... (this isn't the FIRST thing I've proven 99.9% of the board wrong on... I proved dude made a fake styles / aaliyah diss, I told nikkas Donald Sterling would get the boot WITHOUT QUESTION, and now this... all in like a month span... rofl .. #GodShyt)

So for idiots to continue to doubt ANYTHING I say, that's on them....:sas1:

But I WILL be making a "I told your stupid half retarded ass" line of threads in the future, and tagging / quoting anybody foolish enough to *vehemently* doubt what I say.... Oh yes I will...

I knew Megatron would come thru with some dope info.... :myman:

and now that the Carlyle Group has linked up with the "big homie" 4th Baron Jacob Rothschild

rothschild_2645987b.jpg

it's a wrap for all of us............
:snoop:

I have a dyke friend who worked for Booz Allen Hamilton a few years back...She won't even talk about them, outside of that she was making good money.

She got the fukk out of there, works a personal trainer now.

What's crazy is that people seem to forget that when large amounts of money ( or the potential of large money) change hands....somebody is always gonna be there to get large cuts of it...and those somebodys always seem to be involved in some shady shyt.

Should NOT be a surprise. Big capital almost always trump entrepreneurs - after all, it's all about ownership, not value creation per se. @really didn't get heat cause he was lying though, he got heat cause it seemed petty to down an undeniable success. No matter how you twist it, this shyt is pay day for Dre day.

He didn't only get heat because he was shytting on success. He got heat because it was proven on 3 different occasions that he didn't know what he was talking about.
His first claim was that HTC owned 50% of beats and when he said that he tried to claim other ppl were talking out their ass. After being corrected by multiple ppl that HTC didn't own anything in Beats he then tried to say that was wrong and they had 25%, and he was proven wrong yet again. And also he kept subtracting 50% from the capital gains tax when capital gains tax isn't 50%.... He was getting heat because he tried to call other ppl out and he was wrong on many of the "facts" he was stating.

:laff: @ CNN saying the same shyt I said, a day later, and STILL getting the shyt wrong:laff: (red text)

"
Dre -- whose given name is Andre Young -- founded Beats along with music producer Jimmy Iovine. According to various reports, he holds a stake of between 20% and 25% following a $500 million investment last year from private equity firm The Carlyle Group (CG), which was said to have valued the company at around $1 billion.

Forbespegged Dr. Dre's net worth last month at $550 million. Let's assume he does own 25% of Beats. That stake would have been worth $250 million before the Apple deal chatter, leaving Dre with about $300 million from other investments and ventures, such as his music career.

If Apple does purchase Beats for $3.2 billion, then Dre's presumed 25% stake would be worth $800 million. Add that to his $300 million in non-Beats assets and the rapper would be worth $1.1 billion.

Related: Is Beats a mistake for Apple? No diggity!

But that's before taxes.

Who loses if Apple buys Beats

Robert Frank at CNBC says Dre could have to pay around a third of his take from the Apple deal in state and local taxes, which would likely push him back below the $1 billion mark.

Still, even if Dr. Dre doesn't become hip hop's first billionaire following the deal, he'll be awfully close. His closest competition, producer and entrepreneur Sean "Diddy" Combs, was worth $700 million as of last month, according to Forbes. Jay-Z's net worth was estimated at $520 million. "

Check the red text:laff:

CNN saying Dre had $300mil WITHOUT beats...... FALSE.... its like $150 mil, $200 mil TOPPPPSSSSSSS......

He was worth $125 in 2011... He didn't make more money in 3 years than he has his ENTIRE CAREER in music (dating back to death row days / Eminem and 50 Cent's primes:laff:)

Dre money without beats - Not a penny more than $200mil... but Really, $150 mil....

And his stake is NOT 25% .... It's 19.5% at the ABSOLUTE MOST and 16% realistically:

Carlyle: 47% (fact)
Universal Music: 14% (fact)
Some other dude: likely 7%, but I won't even COUNT IT...

61% of the company is FACTUALLY accounted for.... Leaving dre / Jimmy with 39% to split.... Lets PRETEND Dre is getting half (yea right.:mjlol:)... That's 19.5 For each of them....

3.2billion x 19.5% = 624mil

624 mil x 24% in taxes (MINIMUM... COULD BE 33%)... = 474mil

474 + 200 Mil (before beats) = 674 MIL TOPS.... AND THIS IS THE *NICE VERSION*:bryan::bryan::bryan:

i understand the logic in what you're saying and i'm not saying you're right or wrong. but there is no way to know how much Dre was truly worth back in 2011, before the apple deal, and even if we take these figures as true, there is no way to know how much of Dre's net worth they attributed to Beats (in other words, who ever estimates his net worth for Forbes or whatever, we don't know how much they evaluated for Beats' worth), or how much his other assets are worth, what other deals he's doing in private, etc....

I guess my main point is that this is all speculation based on speculation based on speculation.

Not surprising.

The Carlyle Group has their tentacles in everything. They were key initial investors in Bob Johnson's post BET ventures.

Businesses need capital. They happen to have a lot of it. As well as the connections to make sure the venture is profitable and provides a return on investment.

Forbes said Dre was worth $125 in 2011..... Not me.......................

So if we are BASING THIS WHOLE NETWORTH shyt OFF FORBES WORDS, they are the ones we have to go by.

Death Row + Eminem Prime + 50 Cent Prime + Chronic 2011 + Tons of beats made =$125mil in 2011 (WE HAVE TO GO BY FORBES WORD. PERIOD)

So how much could he have fukkin made between 2011 and 2014 off Kendrick and a few Eminem albums that didn't do 10% of what his old ones did?:what:

$75 MIL TOPS OFF KENDRICK / RELAPSE / MMLP 2... AND I'M BEING NICE.... THAT WOULD MEAN HE ONLY MADE $125 MIL OFF ALL EMINEM OTHER ALBUMS AND 50 CENT ALBUMS AND HIS ALBUM AND ALL THOSE BEATS.....

So are you half retarded? Or are you willing to ADMIT his networth was NO MORE than $200mil in 2014 withou beats? (more like $150)

I'm tired yall retarded ass nikkas :laff:

Can somebody please make a "smart people" sub forum.... I mean seriously this shyt is PATHETIC.....:laff:

He's more focused on helping us than his detractors give him credit for. He's also created more Black wealth than anybody in this country outside of the NBA/ NFL.

He does have some straight up c00ns who work for him tho.
