The fact that you can't really slut shame a chick is the real issue. I've got friends who've gone well into adulthood and never heard "I love you" or "You're nice to be around" or anything remotely positive outside of money. Or went hours and damn near days with little to no adult contact or supervision, and the few adults that are involved are toxic or distracted.

Again, we can't have the amount of violence we do in our communities and blame it SOLELY on outside factors.

This is absolutely the case. I can't say I grew up without adult supervision but there was large chunks of my teenage years that my parents know nothing about.
