I read that in some states, if you buy a house on your own before getting married........then get married and raise your family in that house.......your wife can still take it away from you in the event of a divorce

My pops is going through a divorce right now, and I've been to court with him numerous times. Let me just tell you this......I've seen grown men break down in tears and cry like little babies after the court was done with them.
