Coach Prime basically exposed how bad college football is overall.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
As bad as that team was expected to be, the media hyped them up after 1 win. The entire football world gravitated to them.

Georgia meanwhile has won 27 or 28 games in a row and are barely talked about. They haven’t lost in 2 years. Alabama still wins and have been virtually ignored this year.

Despite there being other storylines, the media even now still talks about Colorado which is rebuilding on year one.

Not a good look. Yeah, they still going to make money and the fans will show up, but college football feels robotic. Everything is the same every year. Same teams, same 3 conferences, same coaches, same ol same.

Media goes where the juice is

They'd like to put Prime on a pedestal but he and his program have to earn with it wins

Georgia hasn’t lost in 2 years. They should be the main story. :mindblown:

Something is off basically. The system is rigged for the SEC and Big 10. Maybe the media is simply tired of it. Casual fans don’t give a shyt. Which is why everyone was so quick to gravitate toward Colorado.

It just seems like college football is only relevant (in the media) if you're part of a handful of teams.

Whatever the SEC team of the moment is.
Michigan
OSU
FSU
Notre Dame

And then occasionally some team makes waves but never does anything -- like Penn State or Oregon or Texas.

Can someone explain how a team like Nebraska was so dominant for 30 years and then Tom Osborne retires and they become irrelevant overnight?

Georgia and Alabama clinched their tickets to Atlanta way earlier than normal, there's nothing to talk about until next week with those teams.

Prime created loads of media attention because that’s him, Georgia will get their flowers if they win, but how much juice can you get from a team that’s a Death Star rolling up teams, they supposed to win. What Deion did was good for college football we needed variety, the pac 12 in their last season is must see tv the sport is good
