Some states/cities still have vax passports, mask requirements, capacity restrictions, etc. We should have been done with that shyt the minute vaccines hit the market

My man, America had the softest lockdowns of the big western nations. Folks on here been saying all 3 years that they have been to places with little to no restrictions, especially MAGAset. Distancing and masking has always been a suggestion when masks were required at various points due to people not respecting the recommendation. In any case, the mandates have come and gone over 3 years which is expected of an evolving situation. If folks get vaccinated, hospitals wont have seasons of overflow from antivaxx dullards hitting them all at once. Businesses wont shut for days at a time due to staff being sick. The fact that people can get sick multiple times a year with Covid means this is still an issue we cant ignore and YES masks and distancing worked. Nobody follows those things 24/7 so when they arent, shyt happens. Mitigation is the best we can get when there is no prevention.

Yea of course we don’t have draconian measures because we have a constitution. But our measures are on par with Europe and even more extreme when it comes to schools, which haven’t been proven to be vectors of transmission nor particular harmful to them. This is a virus. Just like the flu. There will be seasons of high transmission and remission. But we aren’t freaking out over that are we? We need to live with this shyt and move on.
