Ok, we all know basically nothing :hula:
/thread

But that isn't true for some of us. You see, while info is being repeated.
Most of you guys miss the things inbetween what is said. Things that are cool, real. But have been overshadowed because they was bundled in with other info. I'm gonna point out some crucial new features I think you may not have realized is coming this year...

DVR

Its a known FACT the nextBOX will have a built in DVR. What isn't known is what for? Somebody then let it leak that the ps4 will allow you to save 15mins of your game, then upload it immediately to Youtube or some lame fukk shyt :rudy:
You guys really want nikkaz posting youtube video's of your matches from Uncharted.. just to see the other team under the levels :youngsabo:
I'm just saying, who gives a fukk. On Xbox, DVR will be so you can save TV from what you watch ON CABLE. But that isn't the :mindblown: info

The fact you can then watch that across all Xbox devices is whats cool.
That means.. PC... Smartphone.. Tablet... Xbox. All can access your DVR'd vids, anytime, anywhere :obama:

Illumiroom

Now while this has been revealed already, I have to bring it up again because it deserves to be.

They purposely didn't show too much in that video because they want it all to be fresh when it does drop. Think what a racing game would be like with that :ohhh:
How about Sports games? You can finally be the QB or any other position and have an idea where everyone on the field is for once!!! (first person mode I'm talking about)
Imagine playing NBA2k on say broadcast like I like to do. People who play on the 2K camera angle will no longer have that viewing advantage with this
The possibilities are endless. Just wait til you see what they already have in store for you :whew:

I'll add on right after this commercial break...

No way the Illumiroom is a launch feature and not extra. It will take a projector... if that mug have a kinect and a projector than that would be nice. will it work with 3d? who knows. DVR from what is the question? cable? what service? I don't like the on all the time idea cause cable boxes break down.

Moving right along...

Directional Audio

So what is Directional Audio exactly? Basically the NextBox will be able to send sound to anywhere it wants to in the room.
How will that work, I'm sure Kinect will play a part in that. But whats important is what can they do with it?
For starters, you can listen to your gaming with the sound up, and it wont be heard by the person a few feet away from you. I don't know if you live with your mom, your kids.. maybe you have neighbors who complain about the sound you make? All that is a thing of the past on the next xbox.
To give an example for gaming, lets say your playing a trivial game. The game could tell you the question and only you would hear it.
A better example would be a survival horror type game. Then you'd hear some shyt move from behind your couch :leon:
Yeah, that type of gaming is not some "maybe one day" dream shyt. That shyt is coming THIS YEAR!!!
They could also use that feature for actual movies.. maybe xbox exclusive?
I say that because directional audio will not be on PS/Wii probably ever since its patented :manny:
This is a huge feature, but oddly never gets talked about...

Augmented Reality Glasses

Yes, like all things, we've heard about it already.
Oh yeah, what have you heard exactly? That they exist?
Is that all you wanna know? If it is, leave now and never look back.
But if you choose to stay? Then welcome to the future :blessed:
What these glasses will do is allow you to see games in 3D w/out the need for a 3DTV :ooh:
Now while what I just said hasn't been confirmed, what has been indirectly confirmed is the Holographic gaming that will be here by 2014
How does Holographic gaming happen unless the glasses themselves make it happen. No TV does that, so the glasses in theory "should" be able to produce the 3D affect on its own. Just like the ones made for PC's :ohhh:
And while that is fantastic, Microsoft won't say shyt about that til 2014
What they will reveal this year about it... The other uses for the glasses.
They wanna aim it towards non gaming. TV mostly. And they had sports in mind. When watching a game, stats will appear via those glasses that don't on a regular TV broadcast. Also info will be shared via the directional audio to combine to a unique experience that can only be done on xbox.
They even have examples of this all over the net right now. Like this...

Going in great detail what these glasses will do.
You can just google this yourself if you have any doubts about how real this is.
I'll drop another two little talked about features after these messages.
If you don't like commercials, I got a youtube video I want you to watch.
Remember Tupac @ Coachella?

Realize that you will have that.. in your homes... by 2014 with these things :ohlawd:

All this fukking bullshyt you are discussing for 100 pages :dead:

Next gen will probably be the end of my gaming career, all I want is to insert disc and play games, all other shyt is irrelevant.

But I dont see discussion of games, only this fukking useless shyt that exists already in dedicated devices.

If you wanna play a game, go play a game and shut the fukk up :yeshrug:
This guy who doesn't wanna be here has brought up another nice feature I guess I'll dive into.

Always On Connection

This has been talked about, mostly by fanboys of each console.
Actual devs have been split on this, some say required, some say not required
There is more evidence that the PS4 will have this feature than the xbox as of right this moment (patents tell the tale) but the reality is you both right.
That also means you both are wrong :hula:
I can't go into DETAIL about exactly how it'll work, and everything is subject to change between now and November.. but here's what I've gathered.
AS was stated today on a story on Kotaku, an ex-xbox employee was shytting on the fact that the system OS moves slowly at times. I agree
Whats known now is that the 720's OS will move just like an Ipad would
Meaning instant access to all yo shyt, but on xbox it should be even faster :whew:
What is known is you can immediately enter a game.. then go to another game.. then go to say, Netflix and it'll all be instant.
I've always known that, but what is new news and hasn't been dissected by US GAMERS enough is them saying you can switch from one game to the next with no waits.
Now how can you do that unless the game is stored on your HDD?
You can Jtag an xbox and basically have that feature right now to a lesser degree. But how can you do this unless games don't have to be in the disc drive anymore :krs:
Now how they gonna regulate that AND still allow used games (Really think about that for a second gamers)

Thats where the always on connection comes into play. The games themselves will be marked somehow digitally. That way, you can't use one game on 25 systems at the same time.
I'm either right, or I'm wrong. I'm not inbetween tho :win:

I gotta do my P90, be back in 2hrs...
