In all seriousness this is a legitimate leg and core workout. Unless y'all think surfers are all :flabbynsick:
I love deadlifts and tolerate squats but if people want to do less effective (but still useful) exercises because it's more fun then more power to them.:yeshrug:Doing exercises you enjoy for a lifetime is better than doing "real" exercises you hate for a couple of weeks before you quit.:manny:

But the best part of all was that not once did I ask myself "When is this going to be over?" In fact, it was easy to forget I was exercising at all; it felt like play

Anytime a excerise feels like play its probably not that effective. The whole point of working out is resistence and tearing apart your muscles. You build muscle when you are in rest. So if your not "punishing" your body in any way, its usually a pointless exercise.

looks like an extreme squat though. I'm sure its hell on your core.
It might be an effective workout in some way but it is nothing like a squat :what:

:comeon:

While none of the moves was especially difficult on its own, I could feel every muscle in my core working overtime to keep me centered and balanced on the board.

Literally the sentence before the one you quoted.:comeon:

I guess hooping at the rec isn't exercise either since it feels like "play":comeon:
