:ohhh: Pulled no punches :ohhh:

He's gonna be wrestling somewhere, and he was done with Stardust 6 months ago and they refused him coming back as Cody

Even more proof of what we already knew...that the brass ring talk that wwe spews is complete and utter bullshyt, good for Cody, he better take his wife with him too.

bytching about pushes of others and outright hating fans. This is on his personal account, not his WWE account. He really, really hates fans. So does Eden, and she's made multiple blogs of the "you don't know my man/this business" variety. Both of them come off twatty on social medias, imo.

He was a tweet tweet delete type

what has he said bad about the fans? :lupe:

Primo and Epico are still with the WWE...Stroman still in the E..but Sandow got released? The guy fans went NUTS over last year. I think that says about all you need to know about having #TrustInCrippleH and Vincent McMahon.

Eh, sometimes. Not for guys that have been on the roster as long as someone like Cody. The mid card should be refreshed every 5 years or so. A big part of the staleness of WWE the past few years is directly due to how many guys have been around for years doing nothing, but still being on TV.

Cody - 9 years on WWE TV
Ziggler - 11 years on WWE TV in various forms
Ryder - 9 years on WWE TV
Cesaro - 4 years on WWE TV
Axel - 6 years on WWE TV
Wade - 6 years on WWE TV
Slater - 6 years on WWE TV
Primo - 8 years on WWE TV
Epico - 6 years on WWE TV
Swagger - 8 years on WWE TV
Usos - 6 years on WWE TV
Sandow - 4 years on WWE TV, nearly 10 years in WWE system all together
Miz - 10 years on WWE TV

And this isn't even taking into consideration the higher on the card vets like Mark Henry/Big Show/Cena/Orton/Kane that have been around 15-20 years consistently. Calling up NXT people and bringing in NJ guys and TELLING you how many new stars they have doesn't mean the majority of their mid card is stale as fukk and needs to be shuffled anyway. Sending those guys down to NXT isn't going to help.

If you've been on TV for 5 years or more and haven't been able to break out or completely change yourself like Kofi, you should be booted and replaced with fresher talent.
Yea man it was time for him, sandow Barrett and ryback to go, they were stale and wwe just wasn't ready for them or they weren't ready for wwe.. People have to remember that ALOT of good talent just didn't fit in with wwe back in the day, but this was before they were the only show in town.

People complain about sandow but I never liked him anyway he was ok as mizdow but not worthy of anything more than a mid card push.. Axel, slater are only around to be jobbers and it's ridiculous how many time they have tried to remake primo and epico..

Fact is just cause you are a decent wrestler it doesn't mean you deserve a top spot in wwe, not one person on that list is wwe champ material they all need to go to NJ or ROH and try to get over there first.. shyt to. Be honest I would rather start my career in the indy's get a buzz and come into wwe with an installed fan base like KO or AJ rather then trying to get over in nxt fresh out the gate

This dude's character work needs to be appreciated. In a time where gimmicks seem to be around less and less this dude went through multiple characters in a span of a few years. He reminded me of Mick Foley because he got himself over(though not to the same extent) and also got the facets of his personality over.

Ever single character was different, Dashing to Undashing was such a natural transition.

^This character had been psychology messed up by what happened to his face, his face was fine but his mind wasn't. This is character work right here, nobody is doing shyt like this nowadays. This dude always had 100 percent dedication to his characters and made sure they stood out. This entire promo didn't show his face, at some point you can feel sympathy for what happened to him even though his face being 'damaged beyond repair' was all in his head.

Ever since he's taken on Stardust he's remained in character. Go on Youtube and watch any interview. Only the Talk is Jericho is the only one I've seen (heard) him as Cody.

This guy is going to be a major player in Hollywood. Only 30 and has the generic look that will get him casted for a lot of shyt. WWE is going to regret letting an actor like Cody slip through their hands. It will go on record as Trips' biggest mistake.

In an official statement released following his WWE departure, Cody Rhodes revealed that he had been pleading with WWE creative over the last few months to drop the Stardust character and allow him to go back to being Cody Rhodes. Back in March, Rhodes began teasing the end of Stardust and the return of Cody Rhodes, and according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, the plan in WWE as of before WrestleMania 32 was to indeed drop the Stardust character and have Rhodes return to being Cody. The character drop was supposed to take place either around WrestleMania 32 or the night after.

For whatever reason, Vince McMahon and Triple H, more Vince McMahon, ultimately decided the character drop was not going to happen, and that Rhodes would remain Stardust.

Meltzer went on to explain that despite Rhodes being released from WWE, officials are forcing Rhodes to adhere to the remainder of his contract, which limits his current pro wrestling options. Meltzer added the split between WWE and Rhodes was not amicable, and WWE is “kind of putting the screws to [Rhodes]” by forcing him to ride out the rest of his contract.

I wonder if they work out some kind of pay scale for sitting out that contract.

I understand it's all business, but it's always funny to read about guys who E has proven to not care about and use as glorified extras not be able to go elsewhere for some arbitrary time since they could fukk around and be a star or a game changer elsewhere.

This is why you don't make business stuff public. Immediately making it public you asked for your release is forcing WWE's hand, and you know it is a petty company. You get what you get. :manny:
