I'd be shocked if there wasn't a shot, especially since there will be 38 writers trying to craft the promo.

He's probably going to be world champ pretty quickly on RAW, but you know they're going to strap the rocket to Bron Breakker's back once he's on the Main Roster and it's going to be "Make Bron Look Strong DAMMIT" booking from there on out. I think there's more of a ceiling to Cody than those others because he was part of a group that started a rival major promotion.

Nah don’t do my dog Alyx like that. He’s pro AEW but usually he’s not that biased. He made a good point about Cody being the face of the anti WWE crowd. Not to mention he was an EVP in AEW making good money. What more could he want? All he had to do was turn heel and ask TK for a main event run.

Not sure what superstan accounts you're following, but since he left, there hasn't been an episode of Dynamite or Rampage where you could honestly say "this episode really needed Cody Rhodes". I pointed it out earlier in this thread that other than the Shaq match, he was directionless since dropping the TNT Title to Darby at Full Gear 2020.

It's a shame he didn't want to go full Homelander-style heel because he would have absolutely killed it.
