Cody on any tv at all

at all these dumbass talking points:
“this is AEW’s fault…”
“Huge blow to AEW…”
so now Cody is a big star and AEW is to blame? The board been shytting on him for long and it only got “hotter” in the last year. are ridiculous. Holy shyt.![]()
I can't really say this any other way:This guy really talking about other people not getting bytches?
I guarantee that neckbeard is a virgin![]()
I’m pointing out a fact about the board and Cody and I’m emotional? You got all that from a few words. You sound really emotional bruh. Like I said the only reason I think it is a blow is because he is a huge marketing asset. As far as in ring talent of course it isn’t a loss.
But as AENXT has proven, all the work rate in the world doesn’t mean shyt to marketability.

Anyone trying to make it a cut and dry scenario is silly, both sides can be right. I'm on record saying that he and Brandi were the worst part of Dynamite since they started running live shows again, and not having them on-screen anymore is a plus.at all these dumbass talking points:

Tony would be quite stupid if there wasn’t NDAs signed from someone at that level in company. If (and a BIG IF) this is not a work and Cody does end up in WWE, it will be huge, but not for reasons as a talent. History repeats itself, in 1989 JJ Dillon left WCW to go to WWF. It was NOT his skills as a manager that made that a big deal, it was the fact that JJ knew all the contract information of all the NWA/WCW guys and helped the WWF pick off who they wanted. Plus, he had relationships with everyone. Same deal with Cody. He knows all the AEW contract info, how they operate, and all their behind-the-scenes details. THAT's where his value is to WWE. Say in a few years they want Wardlow, Jade, MJF, etc. Who has the inroads to facilitate that? Who knows their contracts? And you notice, all these "WWE is interested in so and so" has leaked lately.... it all makes sense (if it's not a work - with Cody, you never know.)

That being said, the optics aren't good when an EVP and "founding father" of the company chooses to bail in their prime. I thought worst case he would transition behind the scenes full time, flat out leaving is another dent in the image they try to portray of being the "right side of wrestling" where everything is sunshine and rainbows.
This could be a work but I doubt it. The money definitely plays a factor but I think Cody has issues with the direction of the company is going in. I think he’s tired of the nonsensical booking decisions, goofy/terribleness of the indie wrestling style and seeing his popularity dwindle due to newer signings probably got him a little salty too
Cody & Brandy are a brand now….They’re jointed at the hip so if the WWE resign him then I wouldn’t see him going there unless he and Brandie are packaged deal.
But Cody was at his best when he had the Undashing gimmick and at that point I wasn’t watching WWE that much but I really liked this gimmick a lot whenever I tuned in.

It’s a lot of posturing to downplay his departure but it’s not a small deal right now like some people are trying to insist. Shane left only a couple weeks ago and there was endless clickbait and scuttlebutt about it and it was all supposed to be this deeply controversial departure that would “ripple through WWE for years to come” even though he’s been MIA from the company, atleast on the surface anyway.I don’t fukk with Cody like that, but you’re playing yourself if you don’t see this as a huge blow to AEW. Cody is one of the few stars they have doing mainstream things from a marketing standpoint. Omega nor the Bucks were doing shyt like him.
I mean you had to figure at some point the rift was gonna come apart between the VPs as their backgrounds were just too different.
