You know what I learned?
The reason England (and most of the countries that were under the British Empire) drink tea instead of coffee is because tea was cheaper than coffee at the time.
Doesn’t have anything to do with preference.
Learned this while listening to Michael Pollan’s audiobook “Caffeine” on Audible.
I don’t recommend it tho. It’s kind of boring and Pollan isn’t a great narrator.
Anyway, the more you know.
