Anyone know of a site that has cognitive tests answers with explanations? I've found several practice tests (keep in mind this is for kids ages 9-13)? Trying to explain different strategies for identifying patterns and the types of things to look for.

Those online IQ tests aren't credible. You'll get different results from others and can randomly guess and get high scores

The only way to test your IQ is to go into a controlled setting and have an instructor hand em out

You can't find questions to IQ tests online either

It's not so much to get an IQ result but to go over some of the types of questions in them with my kiddos. They are testing to get into a school and haven't really seen any of these types of questions so I want them to get some reps under their belts. A lot of those questions have various iterations, like shifting squares or certain patterns/typical examples and I just want to get them an example or two of what to expect.

No offense, because I also want to know, but isn't that cheating?

I don't think so. It's studying. It'd be one thing if I got a copy of the test and gave them answer. It's another to get them to recognize what to look for. They still have to apply the logic and recognition of patterns. Plus, in theory, you can't study for a cognitive test, you either know it or don't, which I find to be untrue based on personal experience.
