These labels have no idea how to market to black women since they’re filled with old white males. Most of their managers are male too.

i just don’t get why the music industry neglects black women so much they are the biggest consumers in the US. Male rappers know this which is why they putting their relationships on full display but somehow the females have no idea. Guess it’s the classic fish bowl- water paradox.

I don't believe it has anything to do with them being too masculine. I will say that the expectations for Black female artists is always high as hell and they're rarely given room from their target audiences to experiment. I can agree that the labels don't know how to market non sex kitten female rappers and they really aren't trying.

That said, this song is not for me.

It has everything to do with them being Masculine, that’s why the main supporters of female rappers are the lgbtq. There are zero expectations for black artists which is why an artist like coi Leary is signed and forced on consumers. Nobody takes black art and artists seriously except for the select few.

Completely disagree. Women and the gays both are the main consumers of female rappers with Black women making up the core of most mainstream Female rappers fanbases. Nicki is probably the only female rapper whose core is equal BW and LGBTQ.

They're trying to manufacture an archetype in the woman not relate to the average woman. These women are weapons against women.
