dunno if i ever shared this story but i had a uncle who beat his wife half to death, then him picked up me and my other 3 cousins (11 yrs old two 12 yrs and a 13 yr old) , took us to the hardware store bought us industrial cleaning gear and had us clean up the apartment.

Funny enough she didn't that was the incident that made her leave, ended up being a successful business woman

Uncle has 8 kids with 4 women

And she got into a abusive relationship. I used to always butt heads with him over how he talked to my mom (I was like 8). Dude threatened me and my sister so my dad confronted him then scooped us up to live with him.

After that my mom ditched him and got herself together.
