He is over. He had the chance to keep this momentum he had going as a babyface. He gets decent and consistent pops. Why, WHY are they ruining that for him?
Why couldn't they just give him a significant feud before he took that step? He hasn't even had one of those yet. The only way to get Roman to the top was hot shotting him to the WM main event even though you KNOW he's gonna get shyt for it? When there were other safer channels to get him there? He would've gotten there regardless. I truly believe that.

Lesnar ate like 4 AA's off Cena like it was nothing. And I'm supposed to believe Roman who was getting his ass handed to him by Big Show can beat that?

The reaction Roman would've gotten would've been more mild, definitely. A lot of those boos were 'We're mad Daniel Bryan didn't win' boos. If there's no Daniel Bryan to win, I really don't believe the anti-Roman reaction would've been that horrible. STILL, that wouldn't have made Roman any more ready to face Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania.

Thing is, there were so many options this year. Wyatt, Ambrose, Ziggler, Bryan, Cesaro (bit of a stretch due to his booking, I know), etc.

I like all the people you named... but the Rumble ain't just about winning the Rumble... it's also the Mania main event. Wyatt is even less Mania main event ready than Reigns is. The crowd likes Cesaro, but Ambrose and Ziggler, same thing. Bryan's THE option IMO... but I guess we'll see what have to see what his Mania feud is now.

Bigger problem is that most of these people (Reigns included) haven't been given enough to be put in THE match this year. They should be getting more to work with than they've been getting. Ambrose got a little, Ziggler got a little, Reigns got a lil' more than they did... but the only kinda-new guy they've really done a lot with is Rollins.

This is also why no matter who won the Rumble, they nor Brock are leaving Mania with the belt. It's on the wall for Rollins.

Problem with THAT now... is if they do what I think they're gonna do, Rollins is gonna end Mania being cheered like a babyface. Whereas if it were Bryan that he cashes in on, he'd solidly be the top heel going forward.

Yup. Bryan or not, Reigns was going to get a lackluster response with a Rumble booked the way this one was.

Agreed, they're just re-doing the whole situation from last year. Not only did yung dragon not win, but got eliminated before he should have? Every time they try to sell that WM main event they're gonna have DAN-IEL BRY-AN chants all over again, if not WE-WANT-ZIGG-LER.
