I think the shirt matching the shorts is what really fukked up Keith's ring gear. It probably looks different in person, but on camera is looks like 1 piece. I don't like his other gear anyways. But this new gear is worse.

I think if they wanted him to wear a shirt..... they should’ve just let him go the KO direction and let it be a baggy shirt.

Even though KO is kinda overweight and has a gut, the baggy shirt does kind of mask it. This compression shirt shyt ain’t it with him

But I do agree with other posters about how they have no problem with Otis but feel the need to cover him up. Just weird, his other gear was fine to me

It's not just the shorts, it's also that his facial hair is gone, as well. That and the compression shirt honestly makes him look in worse shape than him being shirtless does.

I think it's because, especially for bigger black men, we generally recognize the need for us to be clean-shaven as a need to... come off as 'less intimidating' and more 'palatable' to those who might see us otherwise as a threat. Keith Lee with a beard definitely just looks more dangerous than without one - and considering how the rest of the image overhaul worked to effectively diminish him, in a way.

Like, literally every piece of Keith's whole presentation on RAW was almost the exact wrong choice, from gear to music to hair to who he came out to talk to, to how it was done, and then having him not even get to have the upper hand in his debut before Drew popped in

Also... we gonna talk about them literally running the Lee/Kross/Dijak 'you hurt my friend, I'mma hurt you' angle on RAW with the latter two just swapped out for better versions of the same character type?

Like... it's the same fukking angle.

Just wildly less effective because the power dynamic is in the wrong direction. Most the crowd doesn't know Keith and he's supposed to come in to 'avenge' the fukking WWE champion in a match he'll definitely lose because the Orton/Drew angle is definitely not finished.

So it's literally the same angle because it's going to end without a resolution where Keith gets to get the vengeance he is promising. Which... hamstrings him as a babyface in his first goddamned week on the main.

Another thing that threw me off with they hype it him vs how they actually showcased him is all this stuff they was feed Joe to say about him;

“Very athletic“
“Can fly”


They literally showed none of that,

I was waiting for him to do hurracuranna or crazy rope dive on Orton and we got none of that

The over built and under delivered from that standpoint. Hopefully his next go around he’s allow to do even some of the shyt we know he’s capable of doing
