I decided to make my own thread to talk to myself because i find most threads in this fukking forum are awful. The personalities are just not the same as the TLR so im just gonna share various aspects of my life that are at the very least interesting enough to read.

I wanna start by saying in 2006 I joined a pen-pal club online. For some stupid ass reason, instead of trying to go back to Rio where I could actually speak the language and get a woman of my actual type (fat), i decided to start corresponding with some Japanese chick which was easily one of the most interesting experiences of my life. This girl literally was more up on hip hop than I was. Alot of this had to do with the fact that in 2006 i was really still listening to alot of the old Mo' Wax and Ninjatune catelogue so i just wasnt that interested in alot of new stuff. This girl was on it though. I actually dont have the responses i sent because for some stupid ass reason Yahoo deletes shyt randomly from my sent folder, which is annoying because im forced to try to remember the context to why shes replying to what shes replying with.

There are a few introduction emails which i replied sporadically, january 2006 was a very difficult time for me in my life, so often times i was strugglling with the woman who would eventually become the mother of my child (4 years later) and her unwillingness to want to be with me, so talking to this girl who had the same interests as me was really interesting as opposed to chasing a woman who i seemed to bother more than anything, ill expound more later.

I think at this point I told her i was doing music, when i got out the service i had just kind started making music and all that good shyt, she name dropped Pharell which i thought was interesting. i think i tried to tell her about Krush and Honda but i dont think she had a clue. im guessing i brought up typical japanese shyt and see if it stuck. Basically at that time i wasnt really listening to T.I at that point. Obviously she was interested in someone american, particularly black, even though im about a shade darker (slightly) than fukking stephan curry she was clearly heavily interested.

Keep in mind I was still making a last ditch effort with a woman who i was somewhat dating but had moved out of state and no longer shared interest in me. I was prepping to make one more last ditch effort to visit her, but thay will come later.

At this time you can clearly see what era this was, what made me llaugh is i think i asked her about fukking Hentai, what poessesed me to ASK that i have no fukking clue. I cant remember but there was an email where she talked about how mostly old white guys would correspond with her and they were uglyl and i was the first "american black" to respond to her and i guess it got her rocks off real well. one thing i think i was teaching her was alot of slang, one key thing is for someone like me who likes plus size fatties the fact that she didint wanna gain weight was probably a red flag but at the time i was just more concerned with friendship than anything. I was sending her alot of my early stuff, which if any of you know my music i DID NOT sound as good as i do now. Nowhere near as good.

this email had me dying when i read it. At the time the G-Unit/Game beef was still in full effect and the IC was in full fledged war, dipset was losing ground and only a shadow of what used to be. So for her to be asking if i knew what the meaning of "Beef" was, it was surreal. She was really interested in a foreign man I.E me. See the thing is, culturally speaking i was very knowledgable about japan because i had to be on that shytty rainy ass base yokota for so long. She only had japanese men apparently, At this point i aint gonna lie, as much as i really enjoyed speaking to her and enjoying her company i was ready to shane deisel this broad.

What got me was the fact that that her mom was almighty, if mom says no, that shyt means no. As in, HELL NO. i found out later on this would lead to the demise of our entire foundation as friends.

this was hilarious, i seriously had never heard of t-pain at this point, song she sent was "rappa ternt sanga" or whatever, i was like "wtf is this nonsense" i lliterally thought this must be poppin in japan because just like right now, im very disconnected with popular rap but it was worse then because i was even more insulated with rap and what I liked for reasons that mostly have to do with i just dont listen to shyt i dont like. but she sent some joints some times for real. This was the first t-pain song i had ever heard. What was interesting is how even in 2006 while i wasnt crazy about club music, it was listenable, i cant say the same about alot of shyt i hear today.

i think i was trying to explain the word nikka to her. When she says im going to mexico, i was actually going to Yuma the hometown of my now fiance but back then we were sinmply dating. This is a very painful topic for me to discuss. I drove all the way from oakland to yuma az to be rejected and told i was only seen as a friend and not as a boyfriend or anything like that. It really hurt me, infact, it devastated me to a point where i simply lost touch with alot of feelings i had for any woman. We would hook up again years later, but its because i loved her so much. Were together and happy now, but back then, we were both young and iw as the only one who was so sure i wanted to be with her.

When this happened i really began expressing and opening up to my japanese pen pal and explained what happened in alot more detail.

This is where I sort of began to understand the underlying effect of american culture on japanese culture. She was far more interested in what we were doing than the shyt in her own country. I thought that was interesting. I explained to her in deep detail what happened out in Arizona and how hurt i was. There are some parts of her email i left out because she explains how soething similar happened to her but the shyt was a little semi-disturbing and i dont wanna have her out there like that. Regardlless, this is january and i specificallly remember walking in the house i was renting a room from and the superbowl was on and Hassleback had fukked up something, i think it was the tight end who kept dropping passes, but i was so hurt and so devastated everyone just looked at me and couldnt udnerstand what happened. I went into my room, i didint cry or anything, i did something much worse i just isolated myself and just didint say anything, to this day very few people know what happened because i am just not used to rejection. In hindsight it was a turning point in my life because after that, i would just end up fukkin hos on top of hos but it never brought me any satisfaction or happiness, it was just soemthing i did.

This took me a LONG time to get over, i never realized how much in love i was in until that moment when i was for the first time in my life rejected by someone whom i wanted to give everything to.

Ill be honest with yall, i dont think i have ever loved another woman other than the mother of my child, when we got back together in summer 2015 (during that july fukkery) we had been apart since late 2013 up until that point and it was the hardest time of my life, going through rehab and all that other shyt. but this is 2006, so this is the first time i had really been through something so dificult. it was difficult but i was glad to have this girl to talk to about it.

at this point and time i was definately in school trying to get my AA, at the time i was studying film, i had written this movie script about a ronin who had lost his master in war and had become lost who was evenetually taken in by his family friend during the tokugawa shogunate. More or less i was writing alot of spec scripts that will never see the light of day. Its clear here at this point she really liked me. What was even more hilarious to me was "wonderful" and "splendid" and all these words that basically paint me in this magnificent light. the hurt i had felt from going to the border and failing definately was alot lessened at this point. keep in mind this is 2006 january still. I was very young, just out the military and overall i was just an unhappy individual. and if any of you are curious about drugs, that habit wouldnt begin until late 2009.
