You know this because I know you are on tons of mailing lists and talk to people....there is a whole slew of muhfukkas who are "managers" "PR people" "promoters" "designers" that charge these artists tons of cash for the most generic of things.

GreenHitz (not a bad guy but I still wanted to hit him with a c'mon fam) comes to mind....Coast2Coast for sure....

I don't know whether to applaud them for this hustle of making money off people who are a bit delusional or to give em the Camby for preying on people selling them fairy tales.

If the rappers ever realized that all the people on those lists ignore 99% of the emails they spam they would smarten up....

But as long as every one thinks they are one soundcloud link or viral video away from being the next Drake I guess they'll never go away.

It's not that rappers are dumb it's just this is a game that without the right information you're screwed. I have a deal with Sony orchard as well how does one get one of those? You can't just call someone and demand one, it's a weird game of who you know. @dre wrote this to bring caution. And awareness dude is a piece of shyt. He should be thankful I'm not saying everything that happened.

And if you have a real budget you can easily get a deal with a major distributer much better than Sony Orchard. And by the way anyone can distribute through sony orchard actually. You could have done it yourself by just contacting them if you had your business in order.

Do you run the site? Does it pay at all? I do stuff in the industry and write blogs but to be honest don't have time to do it for free anymore. Props to you tho that site is dope and helpful. You guys post some of my homegirls articles Breezy.

it's a common practice today....

all they are doing is playing on people's ignorance and unwillingness to be D.I.Y

Just the fact that he offers tier package Record Deals was a red flag..

but then again I can understand people getting finessed considering TUNECORE and ARENA which are "legit" outlets for music offer the same services to some extent

so you really have to be careful Cole

the music game is unregulated and the digital aspect hasn't made it any better

it's,basically become a SCAM ARTISTS paradise
