To me personally? Never. But most people are gonna say FHD. That was a huge album, it was his first arena tour, multiple hits, still resonates today, etc.

I'm surprised there's any pushback on this. Cole, Drake, and Kendrick reached consistent heights that it took years for any of the next generations to reach. They're also from arguably the last generation of straight rappers (metaphors, punchlines, similes, etc) on the mainstream level. Just about everything else that has popped since then has been more melodic and less lyrical rap.

Future deserves his credit and has classic albums (DS2, and Hndrxx to me personally). But that big three started in 2012, coming out the gate selling 200k first week and taking shyt over. Future didn't do that.

In 2012 Future had multiple hit records and a platinum album, he also had writing credits on Beyonce and Rihanna smash singles. He's been a star as long as Kendrick and Cole have he just reached another level with the 2015-17 run.

Damn

That’s crazy how lil baby is number 5 already seems like that nikka just came out yesterday. Kendrick I will get why he’s goat he got the Accolades but Cole? Seriously to me he’s always been a tier higher than Big Sean and Meek. But in terms of impact more nikkaz have sharked Plutos style more than him.

And? He's not in the top three, which was established by three specific rappers whose styles in no way mirror Future. This isn't hard. Not to mention the fact that Future hasn't had an arena tour or reached the heights those guys have.

I thought the "big three" in the title was referring to Cube's league.

Future has not reached the heights that Drake, Cole, and Kendrick reached. You can prefer his music all you like but the big three are Cole, Drake, and K.Dot and its pretty undebatable and this is coming from someone who despises Drake for getting away with using ghostwriters.

Big Sean ain’t in the convo
Krit ain’t in the convo
Wale ain’t in the convo
Future ain’t in the convo

Its Cole, Drake, and Kendrick and then everyone else. Make your peace with it
