Future has not reached the heights that Drake, Cole, and Kendrick reached. You can prefer his music all you like but the big three are Cole, Drake, and K.Dot and its pretty undebatable and this is coming from someone who despises Drake for getting away with using ghostwriters.

Big Sean ain’t in the convo
Krit ain’t in the convo
Wale ain’t in the convo
Future ain’t in the convo

Its Cole, Drake, and Kendrick and then everyone else. Make your peace with it
that era where Big Sean was seen as the 4th was lmaooo

Since when has Drake ever been "lyrical" :dahell: especially on Kendricks level

Drake promoted and championed himself as a lyricist and was allowed to get away with that shyt WHILE using ghostwriters. shyt is flagrant as fukk but the fact of the matter is he got away with it and it is what it is.

The big three for that generation is uncontested. Really the only debate should be who fills out the top 5 and if you want to put Future in THAT debate then we definitely have a conversation. I’m not a fan of his in the slightest but i’d be a fool to say that he doesn’t have top 5 impact for that generation.

Somewhere on an Xbox
Kats in here fronting hard as hell.

Future has influenced rap more than two-thirds of the big 3

Future has sold more than one of them

Future is more consistent and drops more frequently than all of them.

He's definitely on their level, and to say that he isn't because it took a little longer for him to reach that level is retarded:mjlol:

Edit: Someone give me 3 legit reasons why he isn't on their level.

Damn

That’s crazy how lil baby is number 5 already seems like that nikka just came out yesterday. Kendrick I will get why he’s goat he got the Accolades but Cole? Seriously to me he’s always been a tier higher than Big Sean and Meek. But in terms of impact more nikkaz have sharked Plutos style more than him.

Which shows how meaningless that chart is in the streaming era when whole albums chart on billboard during launch week and not just singles like back in the day.

That first paragraph is my whole point. Cole Should've been the first one to throw Drake out of any top rapper conversation for committing the biggest rap sin. I understand fans these days don't care, but when a lyricist like Cole doesn't, it's concerning

Cole is a nice lyricist for this generation but let’s be real if we talking rap shyt like nikkaz that really do this and we talking from any generation he’s not fukking with a lot of nikkaz. His flow and delivery is modern and may seem like it but nikkas like Kiss, Royce, Black thought, get him the fukk up outta here if we talking bars. Future May not be a lyricist but them nikkaz can’t do what he does. I remember what LA reid said on the breakfast club one time that resonated with me and understood he said future was soul music and I knew exactly what he meant. It’s a feeling a different form of it.

This nikka has 160 million riaa certifications, 8 number 1 albums and 9 platinum albums but yet you have J.Cole top 3
:martin:

My fiancé is the biggest Cole fan and I sonned her ass tonight. I was playing future all night and then changed it to forest hill drive and by the third song she wanted me to change back to Pluto real shyt.

Ppl always trying to force future into that line up :mjlol:
Future is but it’s weird where his spot is. Not saying their music is similar, but it’s a case of DMX or Eminem while both Jay and Nas were out. For me, with modern rap Drake, Cole, Kendrick and Future are the standard, but future is right below the other 3. His music will always be around but won’t be played the same as the other 3.

The "Big 3" was already solidified years ago based on their previous works and consistency up until a certain point, let's say 2018. Rap fans automatically go "Cole, Drake, Kendrick" when its a discussion. Future is 4th and can interchange with any of the three BUT he isn't in the OG group. Simple.

I also got into Future's music late so that may be another reason why I don't view him in that company.
