:manny: If it has to be a big three then realistically Drake shouldn’t be there. Drake gets by on having the best machine behind him.

Cole is the best lyricist
Kendrick is the most creative and artistic
Future is the most consistent at making music

Drake is?????

Forest Hill wasn’t a moment? You nikkas and ur agendas man lmao

No it wasn't. If you wanna say it was a big album sure. But there's only been a few "moment" albums in rap history. I'm talking about albums that on release took a stronghold on the rap game and was the focal point of internet and real life hip hop discussions. Blasting out of every car, club and kickbacks at the house, every casual rap fan knows the words from start to finish etc...No Cole album has never had that kind of impact or influence.

Kendrick - Quality
Drake - Pop/sales
Future - Quantity of bangers

Cole is like second tier of those 3 imo with Travis and the white dude

Here we go again, putting Future in conversations he doesn't really belong. This would've been a dope conversation maybe three years ago or even in 2015-2017. Now? Future isn't in that convo since 2021. Kendrick, Cole, and Drake can hold their own. Future's biggest successes are features or his songs that have features.

You're not going to get that anymore because music isn't even consumed the same way anymore.

Forest Hills Drive was a moment. It came out of nowhere and it was the album that really pushed Cole to a whole new height. There's several songs off that album that were impactful and it had people who never liked Cole before looking at him differently.
