I was in highschool from 09-13 cole was way more loved and well received than kendrick and his first two albums weren't even that great

FHD came out when I was in college and he was super hot then. all his songs with miguel from 10-18 were radio hits couldn't escape those songs if you wanted to.

he slowed down when for your eyes only came out, was hot when KOD came out for about a year

how is someone being at the forefront in his own lane for 7-8 years out of a decade not mt. rushmore worthy... of that decade??

In 2012 Future had multiple hit records and a platinum album, he also had writing credits on Beyonce and Rihanna smash singles. He's been a star as long as Kendrick and Cole have he just reached another level with the 2015-17 run.

That album didn't go platinum until 2022.

Imagine if I tried to put Missy Elliott up there with Nas and Jay Z and used her credits for Beyonce and Aaliyah to make the case.

That first paragraph is my whole point. Cole Should've been the first one to throw Drake out of any top rapper conversation for committing the biggest rap sin. I understand fans these days don't care, but when a lyricist like Cole doesn't, it's concerning

B/c Cole been in the studio with Drake so has many rappers who have attested and vouched for Drake's pen.

Making a song and writing verses aint the same thing. they all use writers to make songs. Yall act like we aint seen video of Ye crafting Jay's Lucifer. Half of the beef Drake has had in the industry is due to him not giving songs to nuccas. Thats a fact

Nelly made a diamond album but he wasn't seen in the same category as Jay or 50 or even TI or Ludacris in the early 2000s. Too much artistic difference to really be in the same category. It's really the way rappers/Hip-Hop is only seen as 1 thing in the first place, but that's another story
