All in all I don't mind it. If they happy then good for them. But its highly suspect. there is nothing wrong with growing old, we all have to & should do so gracefully. but as a flabby flattop myself i'm wild happy that i don't use antiquated slang & colloquialisms. i see it in family members, some younger than myself (won't throw lil bro under the bus lol), & it's cringe b. my older cousin who has been married for thirty one years is about hov's age (i joke on here but i'm younger than hov) and one time at a christmas party four years ago our younger cousin, a 90's baby, was telling a bunch of us about some bum nikka he knew from temple university who was actually getting real money off crypto even though he was a lazy piece of shyt in school. he started talking about homie's crib & cars and our cousin said, "wow man, he livin' large like that?!?"


yo first it got quiet for like 3 seconds & then everybody started dying laughing while he was puzzled as to what was so funny. we started using everything old mocking him like "all that and a bag of chips", "raise the roof", "get jiggy", and "ain't no future in your frontin." on hood, we went on a tear for like 20 minutes with old dances, living single theme song, rappin like das efx, and a gang of other shyt. and the whole time he was like but what did i say? nikka still ain't know
