so which lie are you trying to paint? black woman falls in love with a middle class, white-collar brotha. they get into a steady 2 yr relationship, only for the black man abandon her once pregnant? i mean, i'm sure it happens, but i'm more inclined to believe the majority of these women are getting pregnant by a specific type of dude. one that usually doesn't have higher education, steady employment or any ambition of being a father. because outside of ball players, most men with something they've built, aint going out here getting a bunch of women pregnant.

i guess it all it depends on if you believe manhood is inherent. there seems to be this belief that you can raise a black boy w/o any resources, any structure, any guidance or mentoring, and he's still supposed to grow up encompassing everything needed to be a real man.
with black women pretty much raising the community single handed for decades, they bare more of the responsibility IMO. i know that's an unpopular opinion, but it's the truth. once these girls born in 95 and beyond start raising their kids, and you see the lil welfare crazy thug skirt-wearing twerkers they produce; maybe you'll understand my perspective a little better.

it's obvious that black women don't rely on black men as a collective, they rely on the government. thing is, black men get blamed for this when the truth is the government is their first option -- that's their means to independence.
and yes, i see a big problem with living in a b*stardized matriarchal community SURROUNDED by patriarchy; it's designed to raise black males completely ill equipped to deal with other races of men in society. my question for you is this, with generations of men being raised solely by women, who are we supposed to point the finger at?
There's not too many people who can willingly admit that in some ways they're fukked up, without making any excuses. It's not just a black man thing.
Majority of black women do not depend on the government. Stop. Hasn't it already been proven that the majority of black men are in their children's lives even if they aren't with the mother?
