What brand Kamodo Joe you got? I don't know how to grill, but been thinking about buying a small grill to practice and meal prep on. I thought about a cheap weber at first until I went into the abyss.

I been looking at the Akorn Jr. It's $170. I got a $100 gift card I could use towards it.

The Akorn grills are great breh, especially as an intro into Kamado style cooking (at a fraction of the price). I do low and slow and have also got it well over 700 degrees before lol. I was so impressed with mine that I got the Jr later. I think it’s just as or even more solid than the full size, but you are def limited in grill space on the jr (like full length ribs or brisket) That said, it’s nice and portable
I’ve had the full size more than 6 years now, I plan to eventually upgrade to a real ceramic kamado (now that I’m in a house as you don’t wanna be moving them heavy shyts around) but don’t feel any urgency.

Fuel efficiency is crazy bro, and while they have their uses, I don’t see myself ever going back to a Weber or standard kettle style grill. I have thought about adding a propane grill to the arsenal, but I forget why.

Imma end up copping, gotta see if I can meal prep enough food. I'll be smoking and grilling. I might make a pizza one day too:ehh:

I think there's a grilling thread on the coli, I post up when I buy something. Gone need the tips.

There's Jamaican spots charging $20 for oxtails.

He charges $45 and his are cut bigger so there's more meat on the bone. He's traveling to different cities so it's a one time luxury purchase to try it. With his marketing and branding I'd say that's fair. If he was selling locally that price wouldn't be sustainable.

His price to ship is over inflated. You can have wagyu shipped for less.
