They just finished processing my inventory yesterday so we'll see what happens. I'm sending out a larger shipment of around 50-70 hardcover and paperback books later today. A few of which I'm the only FBA seller for so that's a good thing. My third shipment is gonna be items I pick up from retail arbitrage.

It varies depending on inventory and on the items. I am not really doing retail arbitrage anymore. I only did it for the holidays to double my money to start my own private label. I am still in the process if getting my products so I can't give numbers on thst just yet. During the holidays I spent 2K in November and by the end of the holidays I had 4K to invest. BUT that quick of a turn around really only happens during the holidays.

I PAY TO SHIP TO AMAZON RIGHT? I FOUND AN ITEM THAT IS 60% OFF BUT IT WEIGHS 35 LBS. THE COST TO SHIP MIGHT HURT MY PROFITS TOO MUCH TO BOTHER. IT IS A REALLY HOT ITEM THOUGH.

ALSO IF I HAVE A DISTRIBUTION CENTER NEAR ME CAN I JUST DELIVER MY OWN PRODUCT? I HAVE A TRANSIT VAN TO MAKE DELIVERIES. OFFICIAL BUSINESS NAME AND ALL.

So i have been doing research about this stuff the whole day and it's actually very lucrative as a part time job even if you dont earn a fortune of it. even if you are selling books you got of a second hand store who cares if it takes weeks to sell it if you are making 20$ profit as long as you are making at least 100 a week then that's fine. As soon as i get money my plan is to go to a second hand store a pick up a bunch of bunch of books and see where it takes me

Do you think that the books will do well though? Just curious and not knocking. I want to start in october with $400 exactly.

FYI it's that time of year when Amazon makes it super easy to get into certain gated categories. Just got approved for clothing, jewelry, shoes & handbags, luggage and watches. Get in while you can. I use to be murder trying to get into those categories. Today's approval didn't even require any receipts.

What is that? You have to be certified to sell in watches.

This thread really came just in time..yesterday after 2-3 yrs of wanting to sell a certain product, I made a small wholesale purchase, created an email address/site (using big cartel for free), created an Instagram business page, bought a small amount of Instagram followers (appearing to have a fan base, helps attract others, imo)

This FBA stuff is definitely something I'll be moving into also...I can't sit around anymore, there's waaaay too much money to be made! Great thread!
