It's so sad to see people here so emphatic in refusing to raise a child that isn't their offspring. When you couple this with the fact that 72% of black mothers are unwed (highest by far of any other race), the prospects of a return to a strong black family union across the country is next to impossible. If you really care about the black community and the welfare of your people, you would actively seek to marry one of the many suitable black single mothers in this country. Having a preference for a child-free women is one thing, but rejecting a women simply because she had a child from a previous relationship is simple wrong imo.

Maybe these negrums should take personal responsibility and marry the women of their children, after all it does take two to make a baby. In other cultures, if a man has a child with a women out of wedlock, he is socially obliged to marry that women, I've seen this in many cultures such as African, Arab, Asian even whites. This social obligation goes out the window with black men, hence the mess we are in.

BTW I'm not sure why you're insinuating that children of these single mothers are a result of one night stands, a lot of them are from normal relationships.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Exactly why I have a STRICT NO KIDS POLICY... But i still end up being a "bytch" for feeling this way.
