Geographically speaking Guyana is not part of the Caribbean, but they are part of CARICOM and share similar island culture so they are generally identified as being Caribbean or part of the "West Indies".

British Virgin Islands would be considered part of the Caribbean yes....but I have not been there so I cant speak with any authority on how strongly they are connected culturally with the rest of us.
