Yep Spartan nation knew Miles would do damage in the league. Back then I was thinking he was never 100 % committed to coming back that second year and was trying to avoid injury by not going to the basket consistently.

thing is, he didn't look good with lamelo at all besides the dunks dude spent his whole time on the court with lamelo chasing lobs by running in circles.

my biggest problem with the guy is that he uses all that athleticism to drive with the intent to throw a bullet pass to biyombo rather than live at the FT line like he should. even with the shooting streak, he doesn't know what to do with defenders running at him on the perimeter.

just hoping we can finesse a trade for myles turner or someone like that

honestly miles just needs to be more aggressive and not play passively. Be more me first and get into the lane. Play with more of a chip on his shoulder. He plays too much mr. nice guy. I think a focus on working on his handles in the off season will help. More 1,2,3 dribble moves and focus on getting into the lane.


my knock on him back in college that he doesn’t have much ball skills but instead of using his athleticism to get into the lane to make up for it he settled for jumpers that were mostly catch n shoot
