The Coli isn’t the happy place it used to be

And after a little reflecting I’ve realized it’s not our fault. We are a product of the current events happening around us, in real life. It is inevitable that the board mood/participation/threads will be a reflection of that.

It happened back when all the Trayvon, Mike Brown, Eric Garner(etc) tragedies were happening back to back.

Then we had a re-surge of good happy days again.
But then came the Trump era and the countless racist incidents happening every day.

It’s draining. The board is sour because of it. The only big threads now are usually the negative and emotionally draining ones, not the fukkery laced ones like this one would’ve been if this was 2015 again.

My first year on The Coli was an all out slugfest. Cats had that energy to meet up and fight. Broads were exchanging nudes and not think twice about it. JBO was all out sloppy. Back when people were happy with Obama and relative stability

Now with Trump and all this fukkery on social media, people are just exhausted.
