Might be hope for this season if cliche is making trades before the season starts, dude never trades
I tried to talk myself into Latos cause I didn't foresee him being available to me but I've realized once you get past the top few pitchers (which is pretty much kershaw, Felix, verlander, and strasburg) everybody else is kinda the same...
I think melky is an upgrade over brown by far, Teheran has had a Pedro esque spring (most spring strikeouts in 7 years) but will that translate to the regular season? Who knows, but if he does, he'll be very valuable and I needed to take some home run swings to have a chance this season... "It's a bridge year"
Brown could do really well this year but aside from him my offense all hits for good average which I like...
I'm very excited about my team tho, felt pretty good about sticking to and executing my strategy this draft for once
I was honestly debating taking pretty much every prospect I could and not even trying to compete this year but iv taking will Myers and whoever took Tavares fukked that up for me... I was taking will Myers with the 117th pick but iv took him and Michael morse slipped to me (I was strongly considering him at 62) I stuck to my other plan
Morse hits 40 this year, btw
