What words do you want me to use? If your first instinct isn’t this is some photoshop for the sole purpose of swaying you to spend thousands of dollars on a course I don’t know what to tell you.

You shouldn’t trust anything these dudes say about money that have or made until they show you the same documents they show the IRS
He’a shown his available funds plenty times. It’s there :yeshrug:

You keep saying ‘selling courses’. He has a podcast, merch, has been on Ellen. So he gets money from IG, YouTube, and public speaking…on top of investments. The same way EYL gets paid. In fact that’s how I found out about him. He’s practically a partner with EYL, does all the same events and philanthropy. You saying EYL is a scam too?? :picard:

Basically it sounds like y’all aren’t familiar with dude and lumping him in with other folk. Thats at best. At worst, it’s crabs in a barrel energy

‘You can already find that on the internet’

This reminds me of a chick I was talkin to who’s 16 year old sister got pregnant. So I’m like well you gotta help her. That’s a lot to deal with, etc

She said ‘this girl is so lazy, everything she needs to know is on the internet’

:mjtf:

Like bruh, “the internet”, or ‘YouTube’, is a big fukin place. To a newbie or someone not as savvy it can be intimidating where to start. So there is value in curating and streamlining this process. There is nothing ‘scammer’ about that.

That’s like calling someone who sells food plates a scammer bc they just cooking stuff that you can already buy yourself :beli:
Exactly. Thanks to people like EYL, Ian Dunlap, and Trap I started to learn more about stocks because they present the information in a more digestible way. They use real world examples and less jargon. So people like myself and others start to learn more and then you can feel more comfortable learning about other stuff. Everyone is quick to run in here and say scam this and scam that but I’d put them to the test. Try explaining half the ish going on in the market most won’t be able to do it nearly as well. I’d dare most in here to put up their portfolios, put up how much money they got saved away, put up how much they got in their 401ks. They aren’t going to do it. More importantly you don’t have to pay for the courses. These guys give away free game every single day but instead of saying I’ll take this and I’ll leave that most would rather just come in here label people scammers and destroy the whole premise which is to get people educated and active in this stuff which we are already far behind in.

Some of y’all need to take a hard look in the mirror and realize you don’t have sh*t on things all day everyday. Especially when you don’t even take the time to explore what you’re talking about because if you did this thread and many wouldn’t go past page 2.

He’s showing what you think are his funds because he’s selling a lifestyle and that in itself is a scam

None of that stuff is needed if you’re making a living in the stock market. If he really had some type of real investment strategy he was just borrow money from banks use his strategy and profit

Selling clothes, podcast and other stuff would be a complete waste of time

got to love how he and other make it sound like playing stocks is a for sure win/win. As if most people don't lose. :gucci:

I've never heard of a working class person quitting their job due to stock trading profits. Broke people don't have enough money to risk or to do they make enough to invest $10000s and wait years to hopefully turn a profit.

He's basically feeding poor blacks to the Wall St Wolves.

They don’t

Again, you aren’t familiar with him. He doesn’t sell ‘I’m filthy rich, and here’s how you can be too’. He ‘sells’ the ability to explain the stock market in layman’s terms for novices, and deconstructing the very real intimidation factor and/or ignorance towards stocks in the black community

Your perspective is skewed bc…you’re here. We’re literally typing in a Curated, organized website of information. Most people have no clue what the Coli is. A ton of peope I know don’t even know what Reddit really is. For these people, yea, this info is useful. He’s doing far more good than bad and this thread is embarrassing

Im not a fan of Trapper because im tired of the whole "trap" theme with everything but he's doesn't sell get rich quick/overnight at all. His strategy is mostly long term.

Can't believe breh used the "he showed us his funds" line, when that is one of the most common tactics from grifters and people whose day and night job is selling a lifestyle to poor people. Those wakeupnow brehs and countless other mlm types would do the same thing. Look how much money I have, you can have it too is textbook selling dreams behavior.

I have no idea if the dude in the OP is a grifter as I've never heard of him until now. But damn is it frustrating that we're in 2023, with so many examples of grifts and scams and dream merchants selling hope to black people for thousands of dollars, and people still can't adequately spot signs of grifts and scams.

No one needs to be sold a long term strategy. Most people should be contributing as much as they can to their companies 401k plan. That’s the only long term strategy people need

NYC (but PGH will forever be home)
Maybe not as bad as Jay Morrison, but still a hustle no less.

He is selling courses for +$1,000 when you can easily purchase a book (with much more meaningful information) for less than $20. Hell, you can even get the information for free on YouTube.

So this tells me that he is in the business of selling folks false dreams of 'getting rich quick', not education.

I also laugh at these dudes who preach financial literacy, then promote $100 hoodies to the same clientele. :mjlol:

No he’s selling his method and courses and his lifestyle

He’s nothing more than a social media influencer by the way of “stock market knoewledge”

You seem to think he isn’t scamming because he isn’t saying “get rich quick” but nothing he’s monetizing is worth anything

Stuff like this is pure :trash: and is nothing more that dream selling
