Truth be told I eat pretty healthy. Sunday me and my girl had baked chicken with mixed veggies and rice and we drink water pretty much exclusively. Unfortunately I don't think diet is gonna change anything. My dad has been a staunch vegetarian his whole life. Barely cooks with salt and hasn't eaten meat since he was 9 years old and he was diagnosed with heart disease about 10 years ago.

So I said fukk, I'm more than likely gonna get it anyway might as well enjoy myself

I did some pan fried cabbage in about 2tablespoons of bacon fat and the meat off leftover smoked ribs this Sunday. My kids loved it so much they went back for seconds.

But I was taught to eat a veggie, starch, meat, and some type of bread which is a full dinner. My grandma would talk shyt if I cooked a meal with rice, potato, corn, meat, and cornbread. Balanced meals was and still is key.

Nowadays I see chicks showing off plates full of starches and boxed mac n cheese.
