There is a witch hunt on here but that's all over online. People feel entitled to everyone else's lives. Especially because others exploit themselves on social media so freely. They display literally everything about their lives.

I think ppl are less likely to express extreme and irrational ideas when they can't hide behind the cloak of anonymity. You might actually be able to get a decent conversation out of a tlr thread if you made ppl show their faces. Most of the things ppl say anonymously doesn't reflect how they truly live because they don't have to take ownership of their statements since no one knows it's them. By forcing ppl to show their faces u make ppl own up to their statements which makes them think twice about posting garbage

before social media, internet anonymity made a lot more sense. Since social media is literally the biggest platform in the world, it makes no sense people be so scared to post as who they really are. do they not know random people can look at their social media at anytime random people see you everytime you walk outside what is the issue

Can't speak for everyone but for myself it's weird only because I've been posting along side of some of ya'll between sohh and here since 2001 so I'm just kinda used to not knowing what anyone looks like on message boards


I live/speak my truth and I address everyone I talk to the same way I would if they were in the room, so it's easy to sort thru who to ignore and who to engage with.

White people coming on here pretending to be black. When you meet random people in public, you don't have tons of white people pretending to be black.

I had a friend show me my digital footprint using Facebook a long time ago, I immediately got rid of it afterwards. The tracking they do is incredible.
