Coli I'm confused about my car loan

So today I log on to chase to make a payment on my auto loan and they said my next payment isn't sue until November. I thought yu had to pay every month? The loan is for 72 months, can that be the reason?

It should be every month breh and you should try and pay it off earlier than 72 months because the extra months end up paying are interest.

If you got the loan this month it might be deferred a month.

Call them.

No I've had the loan for about 5 months, I do plan on paying it off earlier than 6 years

If you overpaid one of those months its gonna push the next due date back. If you didn't call them ASAP, before you get late fees and/or repossessed.
