You always claim to not care but you're choosing to post in the threads they make.
:beli:
Yall always accusing me of caring so much…as you all rehash the same stupid fukkin threads and arguments for decades.

Do you people have any fukkin self awareness at all?

Just look at the “who replied” numbers of these threads. The same people leading the board. These people are sick.

MJ > Bron is a reasonable take, whether it's right or wrong.

Kobe > Bron just isn't true.

It's like saying Barry Sanders was better than Walter Payton. Sanders might have been more fun to watch stylistically but he simply was NOT better than Payton. No amount of stanning can change that.

I loved watching Bean. Entertaining as fukk....but no.
All of this is opinion anyway.

People love to use numbers and longevity for Bron but that gets thrown out the window when it comes to Emmitt Smith as the GOAT RB.

How would the Celtics and Lakers in the 80s not be better than the 80s and 90 Bulls?
Same with Zeke and the Pistons.

Jordan didn't "takeover" until Stern changed the rules for him and the old guard were injured and retired or got old.
Period.

Also there are no one on one games in the NBA, the record talk is foolish either way.
Jordan was the best player in the league from jump stop you dudes are hilarious.

That old shyt is funny because Detroit went back to back easy and then got fukking curb stomped but now they was old foh

Best player getting thrown out in the first round.

Stern made the call
Then, the shift began. Hand-checking rules were reexamined. Referees were quicker to whistle contact on perimeter players. The league, hungry to spotlight its most marketable asset, found itself in a balancing act between preserving the sport's integrity and maximizing its profitability.

Educate yourself.

That is why no one will ever compare to Wilt.
In 1956, the league banned offensive goaltending. The rule said that no player can touch the ball if any part of it is over the cylinder. Nowadays it's called basketball interference. 12 years before that, in 1944, the league had already banned defensive goaltending.

In 1964, trying to stop Chamberlain, the NBA widened the lane area from 12 feet to 16. Curiously, they first widened it from 6 feet to 12 to diminish the dominance of George Mikan in 1951.

During his time at the University of Kansas, teammates were throwing alley-oop passes over the top of the backboard from behind it so Wilt could make dunks. The NCAA changed this rule, too, after watching the big advantage Wilt had.

One of the most incredible stories about Chamberlain is how he shot free throws. He made the shot, jumped from behind the free-throw line and slam the ball through the basket before his feet touched the ground. He didn't touch any part of the lane area while the ball went through the rim, so that wasn't a violation. That created another rule that says, "players cannot cross the plane of the free-throw line, even if your feet are not touching the ground, until the ball hits the rim or passes through the basket."

Jordan wasn't better than Magic or Bird, as players until he matured in the 90s.
he could score though, but hey so could Areanas right.
