I don't like the first one, too many shades of a dark colour; navy blazer with black shirt and charcoal trousers....also doesn't fit him right, he seems too large for the outfit

I think that's a suit he wearing. No Black shirts for you? What Monochromatic dressing styles?

So you're intimidated a man that to clean? :patrice:Interesting. I guess occasionally wearing Alligator shoes (as I sometimes do ) would be big turn off you? No?

I appreciate style but overly fashion focused and following trends I find off putting. Like those trousers that are really loose skirt looking around the hips...nah mate

Can you narrate this entire thread with your british accent?
It would be so much better.

And how much does it bother you that as Americans we say "pants" instead of "trousers"?

Maybe it's my eyes or screen but the suit jacket and trouser don't seem to be the same shade.

Monochromatic...light, pastels, creams, too much of a bold colour is painful

There's pretty much a different occasion for each shoe.
One's a loafer.
One's a monk.
One's a derby.
And one's a boot.

I'm not a big fan of the boot, though...if only because it would seem a bit too sleek for my taste. But I couldn't ever pull off wearing gators anyway.

I'm rockin canvas shoes all summer
Nothing wrong with that.
I had my eye on some canvas boat shoe the other day but it sold out.
It's really a toss up with loafers/boat shoes these days. Everyone's rocking the same Sperrys.

You I a black man right? Pastels next to dark skin imo is :scusthov:.

You asked about my preference lol but okay for really dark skin I'd go for warm, honey colours or light and bright colours like turquoise or teal possibly but for a suit...monochromatic...light grey up to but not darker than charcoal. Depends on the cut most of the time, if it fits well colour can be secondary

Don't get sucked into the idea that dark skin can't pull of colour, if anything it actually makes colour pop and look richer
