Dude coulda died if he landed the wrong way, so for sure, if he was the type to press charges, a prosecutor would have no difficulty filing for attempted murder charges...

This, 100%. I mentioned over a year ago, the older I've gotten, the more I detest the cultures that allowed us to perpetuate violence against one another. I hate hearing about black people harming each other, and I hate even more that we put this on display for nonblacks to continue to drive narratives against us...

I'm so serious when I said I'm doing my part to raise my daughters with a healthy love and respect for everybody, raising them with the spirit of nonviolence. They will know when and if they need to protect themselves, but I will at least do my best to keep them from falling into the mind state that violence is a necessary means to an end...

And above all, they will understand that when they are in public, they could be the only interaction a nonblack has with a black girl/woman, and understand that people drive narratives that keep the systems in place to damage and oppress Black Americans. This is ultra important to me, and to the best of my abilities, I'll try to instill this knowledge within them...
