He was very similar to Dave Chappelle in that....I think when Chappelle was on Inside the Actor's Studio he said something about naming your own price in the beginning...and getting out when the cost is too much.

Patrice had this fear of having to owe. Basically he says that in show business, a lot of people are rewarded with certain things but it's rarely at face value. They always seem to come back and are able to take it away and he didn't want to be put in a position where the things he might have felt he earned could be taken away or compromised by being asked to do or say things he didn't necessarily agree with.

He talked about this in reference to Tracy Morgan and Mel Gibson. It's a bit hard to explain, it's best if you guys listen to the video itself.
I listened to all his appearances on the Opie n Anthony show twice.

Patrice changed my life.

That's why that analogy was great, my question is, what does the water represent?

Control the messenger, control the message.

Handcuffing the Baboon (Chappelle) with salt (money) means that he gives you access to the resource you can't find/have yourself; water (us).

With the promise of more salt, the baboon won't attack or compromise your mission as you seek to fill yourself on water, water you couldn't find without him.

aka

Give him money, enough of it to where he thinks twice about the things he says or does, especially the things he says or does to his own people, you can continue to manipulate, rape and pillage (metaphorically) and have a spokesperson for a population of people who wouldn't listen to you otherwise.

If someone as popular amongst us as Chappelle says "he guys, I brought these guys to drink our water, but don't worry, they're cool", we might listen.

When Chappelle let go of the salt, it made a lot of people think twice (us). Now when we see salt, we know there may be something more behind it. Not always, it may not always be nefarious and shady, but it at least makes the smart among us think before we stick our hand in the hole.

And to wrap up my above post, and in part Chappelle's analogy, the overall message shouldn't be "don't take the salt", the overall message should be "remember to let go".

With Comedy Central, Chappelle smelled a trap and didn't put his hand in the whole.

Now a little older and a little wiser, Netflix came with $60 million worth of salt, and he probably sniffed around and saw there was no trap.

He took the salt, and now he's let go with enough to feed him and his family for a long, long time.

Supporting a known joke thief and racist is a huge L, Chappelle took a hit too when he decided to share a stage with her.

But unlike Rock he's not really backing her, she seems to be hanging around wherever he goes and tries to remember his material from that night.
She's the Jew plug. But yeah, you don't have to openly support her garbage ass. Just let her hang around and politic with her Jew folk. Pookie just a overrated corny nikka

S'fukked up, especially since there is so much evidence of this piggy bytch outright just stealing whole routines from people's acts and not getting checked like they did Mencia or whomever else the fukk, one of the major pillars of standup that fools LIKE ROCK should be hip to more than anyone else. :aicmon: Money gotta get made, I guess.
