The dollar amount should be for an optional choice; either a monthly stipend, free college/trade school. Free housing. Free land grants. Abolition of debt, free healthcare or a combination of them. The monthly amount should be 4k for 100 years.

Similar to how the Civil Right Act of 1875 was repealed these conservatives will just chip away at these half measures.

The modern conception of reparations is that if you were placed in bondage by the laws of a government, then that government owes you funds for restitution.
Reparations is not about the slave trade per se. It is about holding people in chattel slavery due to the laws of the land.
So if you immigrate from Guadeloupe to the United States in 2024, it is the government of France that owes you reparations - since it was on Guadeloupe that your ancestors were enslaved and later emancipated.
And im going to assume if the ancestors passed down something. Its a good chance it couldve got tricked off too. Because as you acknowledge,some people would have zero respect for what the money represents.
Which is why I could care less about all "our people" getting a check. Im sure the resident boule licking their chops when I talk like this. But its simply the facts

ADOS people are pretty smart as it is, we just need the resources. Moving to ADOS middle-class communities, building ADOS businesses, and this will help with funding newly built schools in our communities, etc...

the economy is controlled CURRENTLY by a govt. but should that change the money would still be owed.
even in a government-less state the money is still owed.
