I understand trying to determine who the biological father is can be dicey at times.
But it's not hard to have a system where you test who ever signs the birth certificate, that way 10 years later you don't have a kid trying to search for his real father and a step dad feeling like his soul been snatched, not to mention out of thousands of dollars.
We all know that these women will have sex with multiple guys but claim the father is whoever has the most money, best looking or most potential.
As a requirement, the state should test who ever is on the birth certificate. As it is very reasonable to assume you're the father if you're married or in a relationship. As a women you know exactly who you had sex with, so if a man has paid support for 10 years and it's later found out that he is not the father.
Not only should he not have to pay support any more, but the mother should pay every penny back to him. If she wants to avoid that situation, how about list this person as a "possible candidate" for father instead of having him sign the birth certificate.
Something needs to be done or system put in place for this. Families are being torn apart and kids being hurt and devastated because mothers lie or be deceptive about who the father really is.
At least automatically testing the name on the birth certificate could eliminate him from wrongfully being placed on child support in the future
Before you come in here saying use condoms or don't bust in these hoes, make an actual realistic suggestion or solution for after the fact.
