Shyt actually happened to my boy ... His moms was at one of them outlets and runs into his ex from HS and she had a kid in tow. Moms was like

So moms calls him up like u need to come home I think you got a kid. Long story short he gets back to town and finds shorty and sure enough its his kid. He hit me up yo i gotta daughter (shorty could be his clone too) I gotta relocate back down here cant be havin my kid running round w/o me.

Depends how old the kid is and his/her maturity level. If the kid is lets say 16 and above I will likely just feign ignorance. If younger will look to connect with the child.
