Don't let Apple fool you. Safari is shyt on any platform because Apple is always slow to fix rendering issues.

It doesn't take me a long time to post on the coli and this is on Sprint's network...the worst network in the country when it comes to data speed. Tapatalk and other forum apps suck in general.

Responsive is the way to go, having to rely on a dedicated forum app not only limits what can be added as a feature, but have to rely on the apps to fix things that break.

Plus, as I have said before. The Coli the way it operates now works on iOS, Android, Windows Phone, BlackBerry and even older smartphones without tweaks from the user. Safari seems to be the biggest problem.

Tapatalk won't be used on here. In addition to not offering support for several key features, they've had major issues with security and aren't honest with their customers.

Developing our own app isn't financially feasible.

I'm using the Coli on an iPad right now and with Chrome it's nearly identical to how it performs on my android phone. I wish I was able to debug and patch Apple iOS...my bank account would be looking considerably different if that were the case. So until they do that on their own I'd discourage using Safari and lump it in with other shyt browsers like Internet Explorer

It is probably best to hold off on that anyway. I assume Apple is about to go the Windows route with their apps in 2017 or so.

Mac+iOS 11 is probably when the entire transition will start taking place once more and more of these apps are developed in Swift rather than Objective-C.

Can you target specific browsers and leave an announcement for them to see? Link them to chrome on the app store
